Someone to think with,
on a monthly fee.
Decisions about the business, investment in IT, hiring and organisation, the web and advertising. An advisory service you can bring anything to, across every field, on a monthly fee. A neutral sounding board with nothing to sell you.
A service we started in spring 2026. Yuto Takashima, our representative, acts as your adviser personally.
The people who decide
have no one to ask.
Three things we hear from owners and department heads.
Some things can't be said in-house
Doubts about the business, worries about the team, decisions about money. You cannot raise them with staff, and family cannot answer them. So you carry them alone.
Specialists only cover their own field
Your accountant handles tax, your labour consultant handles employment. But the real question is a business one that touches IT and hiring at once, and there is nowhere to take it.
Ask a vendor and the selling starts
Ask a systems company and you are sold a system; ask an agency and you are sold advertising. A neutral opinion, with no purchase attached, is hard to come by.
Someone to talk to,
before you decide.
CAICA ADVISOR is Yuto Takashima, our representative, acting as your adviser on a monthly fee. Not to sell you anything — to help you decide well.
Communication at an advertising agency, systems and projects at an IT company, and hiring, organisation and money in running his own company. Having worked across those fields, he can see where a problem really sits — that what looks like an IT question is, in fact, an organisational one.
This is not a formal advisory board. It works over chat, as questions come up. A monthly session keeps track of where things stand; anything in between, you simply send. The decisions remain yours. The role is to be the person you think them through with.
- Talking through business decisions
- IT investment and system purchases
- Second opinions on quotes and proposals
- Hiring and organisation
- Web, advertising and marketing
- Choosing and negotiating with vendors
- Sitting in on meetings online
- Reviewing documents and plans
- A monthly session
Why companies choose us
Across fields, with nothing to sell, and easy to ask. The formality of an advisory role, removed.
One place for every kind of question
IT, hiring, the web, advertising, the organisation itself. You can bring a problem in whatever shape it arrives, and we will also tell you when a specialist is what you actually need.
Neutral, with nothing to sell
Within this engagement, selling you something is never the aim. Whether to commission the work at all is part of what we think through together.
Ask by chat, the moment it comes up
You do not have to wait for the next meeting. Send the question when it occurs to you, get an answer without ceremony. That speed is what makes an adviser useful.
Someone who runs a company too
Yuto Takashima has run his own company since 2014, making the calls on hiring, organisation and money himself. Not commentary — a view from inside the same position.
Getting started
Let's talk once, at no cost. Decide afterwards whether it fits.
Get in touch
Send us the form. We reply within two business days and arrange a first meeting.
First meeting
We listen to the business and what is on your mind, and say honestly whether we can be useful. If not, that is where it ends.
Agreement
We propose a monthly fee in writing, based on how much you expect to ask and how often you want to meet. Contracts run month to month.
Running
We open a chat channel and start the monthly session. Sitting in on meetings and reviewing documents are included.
The value of an adviser lies less in producing answers than in ending the time you spend carrying things alone.
Set to how much you ask.
A company that wants to talk almost daily and one that needs a few conversations a month should not be arranged the same way. We listen first, then propose a monthly fee in writing. All figures exclude tax.
- Monthly fee
- Based on how much you expect to ask and how often you want to meet. Proposed in writing after the first meeting.
- Included
- Questions by chat at any time, a monthly session, and review of documents and plans.
- Not included
- Production and development work. Where that is needed, it is quoted separately as one of CAICA's services. Commissioning it is never a condition of the advisory engagement.
- Contract term
- Month to month. No long tie-in.
- Confidentiality
- Included in the agreement. Nothing you share leaves the engagement.
- Payment
- Invoiced at month end, payable the following month.
The first meeting is free and lasts about an hour. Decide afterwards.
Common questions
A few things people ask before getting in touch.
Anything that sits just before a decision. "Is this even the sort of thing I can ask?" is itself a fine place to start.
No. Tax and legal judgements belong to those professions. What we can help with is working out who to ask, about what, and how.
Yes. If it concerns your business, size does not matter.
We do not count them. If the volume changes substantially from what we expected, we talk about revising the fee.
No. The advisory engagement and any production work are entirely separate. We are happy to advise on work you commission elsewhere.
Yes, anywhere in Japan. Sessions and day-to-day questions happen online.
