Running alongside you, to the goal.

Our name, CAICA (kaika), comes from the Japanese word for a flower coming into bloom. The goal is that moment: when an effort bears fruit and the flower opens.
New ventures, new organizations, new initiatives — at the start, none of them have a visible shape.
We listen first, then define the requirements. We design the approach, bring together the people, resources, and services, and run alongside you as one of the team, until the flower blooms. And after it does, we keep going, together.

About CAICA

About

Who we are, and how we think about our work.

Most inquiries are not yet requirements. CAICA starts by listening. We take the time to define the requirements, including the issues you or your company may not have noticed yet. From there we design the approach, gather the people, services, and resources, and build the team. Then we run alongside you to the goal. That, repeated, is what CAICA does.

CAICA's services are an extension of that. Advertising and production, career support, IT consulting. What follows is not a menu of separate offerings — each one grew from a single, continuous career.

We start by listening because that is how our representative learned to work. His career began in advertising sales: working deeply with a single client, listening closely, and solving problems together. Later, in career support, the work was one-on-one counseling with students and young professionals. Working deeply with one company and working deeply with one person share the same root. Whether the problem belongs to a company or a person, nothing begins until you listen.

Your point of contact is always the representative. From the first conversation through decisions on scope, cost, and schedule, he speaks with you directly. Depending on the project, consultants or assistants may join and we work as a team. Even then, the representative never leaves the project. From beginning to end, the same person carries the same responsibility.

And projects run on people. CAICA comes in from the outside. But some things cannot be moved from the outside. So we come inside. Internal politics, the history behind the problem, the things that are hard to say — we take them on, and then decide and act as one of the team. Not carrying out what we are told to do, but choosing the best path as a member of the company. That is where CAICA's work begins.

CAICA's services did not begin in their current form. We listened, and took on new themes when they were needed. The result is the list of services you see today. In the same spirit, we will keep adding to what we can do, step by step.

Services

Services

With PMO/PM at the core, we provide people, build things, and put systems in order. We start wherever your situation needs it most.

PMO / PMProject Management Officer / Project Management

We join projects where in-house expertise is limited, as PMO/PM. From requirement definition through progress management. No field is off-limits. We organize the issues, design the approach, fill gaps in expertise together with partners, build the team, and drive it to the goal.

Business Support

There are times when the work would move, if only someone could take it on. Not enough hands. No one assigned. Impossible to do on the side. CAICA places people into your team to carry that work — day-to-day communication and coordination, progress management, administration. No field is off-limits. Not as an outside contact point, but as one of the team.

SESSystem Engineering Service

Engineers join your team and support your operations. We select people to match the skills and duration you need. On-site or remote, they work as one of the team.

Recruiting

From launching new-graduate and mid-career hiring through running it. Attracting candidates, structuring the selection process, supporting new hires after offers — all designed around the realities of your company. Our years in career support apply directly here.

Training & Development

From new hires — high school and university graduates and others — to mid-career employees and managers. We plan training matched to each audience and purpose, select and arrange instructors and training providers, and build evaluation frameworks. People development that does not end at hiring.

System Development & Maintenance

We build the systems and tools your operations need, from requirement definition through design and construction. And we do not stop at delivery — we stay on for maintenance and operation.

IT Asset Management

From equipment such as laptops and monitors, to contracts for the software and online services your business uses. We confirm what is needed, select it, and arrange it — then handle who uses what, and any additions or cancellations. Proposals that fit how you work, and your budget.

Creative

Planning and production of websites, brochures, landing pages, and more. We organize the requirements, set the creative direction, and manage progress while directing designers, engineers, and writers.

Process

Process

Listen, define, build the team, run alongside. The project may change; the way we work does not.

01

Listen

We listen closely: the background of the problem, your internal circumstances, and the history so far. The things that are hardest to say are often the most important clues.

02

Define

We shape the issues into clear requirements, including the ones not yet put into words.

03

Build the team

We design the approach and, together with partners, arrange the people, services, and resources within budget. We think about where each person can do their best work.

04

Run alongside

As one of the team, we keep an eye on the whole, communicate constantly, and run alongside you to the goal.

After 04Run alongside, we return to 01Listen. CAICA repeats this cycle, all the way to the goal.

Project Management Officer

Born in Sapporo, Hokkaido. Graduated from Tomakomai Higashi High School, then from the Faculty of Law (Political Science) at Keio University.

He joined Dentsu Inc. as a new graduate, working in sales across advertising, marketing, and branding. He then moved into education and careers — a long-standing interest — serving as division head of the HR business at Gaku Co., Ltd., a career-education venture. There he took on recruiting, training, and business-building, while also working hands-on in IT advisory, search advertising, and web production.

He founded CAICA Inc. in 2014, with investment from IID, Inc., then listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Mothers market, and ran a job-information site and a career-support school for new graduates and early-career professionals. After the partnership ended, he served as a director of Beetle Inc., working on PR and regional-revitalization projects and building sales channels together with partner companies. Throughout, he continued to expand his PMO/PM work — which continues today.

Advertising, HR, IT, media, PR. The fields changed; the way of working never did — listen carefully, put the problem into words, and draw the next step together. Facing one person and facing a corporate project call for the same thing. He has also supervised and authored books on job hunting.

In his student years, he devoted himself to ice hockey. He played goaltender: reading the whole rink from the back, directing teammates with his voice, and taking on whatever came last. From elementary school through high school, he captained every team he played on. Listening to everyone, setting the direction, and answering for the result — that was where he learned what it takes for a team to produce a single outcome.

In competition, he was runner-up at the IIHF U18 World Championship Division II with Japan's national team, selected for the U20 national team, and named a candidate for the senior national team. In his final year of high school, his team won the national Winter Games. He stopped competing after school, but what the sport taught him — be honest, keep at it, produce results as a team — remains the foundation of his work today.

He also serves concurrently as co-representative director of Inoue Kikaku Co., Ltd. (brand: BiNoo), which manufactures brown-rice cup noodles and rice paper in Vietnam for sale in Japan.

Careers

Recruit

Any working style, any hours, any form of involvement. Let's find a way to work together.

CAICA is looking for people to work with. No conditions on employment type or hours: contract work, a few hours a day, one day a week — all are welcome.

The ways people work with us vary. Full-time, fully remote, alongside another job, shortened hours, or paid on results. Our members are based from Hokkaido to Fukuoka, in their 20s through 50s. Even if there is no specific role in mind yet, we can look for one together.

Our representative has years of experience in one-on-one career counseling. Your strengths, your weaknesses, your personality, the kinds of people you work well with — we ask about all of it, then look together for a place where you can do your best work. Terms and roles are settled only after we have talked them through. Feel free to get in touch.
